Based in Los Angeles, Andy Lacefield is a classically trained vocalist (mezzo-soprano) who enjoys singing a wide range of choral compositions with other passionate individuals, performing in musical theatre productions, and broadening their musical catalogue.

They spend their free time collecting vinyls ranging from Tchaikovsky to System of a Down, playing piano for their wife, and studying lyric diction to sing in new languages.

Andy earned a Bachelors of Science in Music (Voice Concentration) at John Brown University in 2016, and their academic journey opened the doors to some of their proudest accomplishments:

  • Going on tour in Northern Ireland with JBU's Cathedral Choir

  • Performing Brahms' Ein deutsches Requiem with the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas

  • Performing in Stephen Caldwell's Carnegie Hall debut of his original composition, Pre-Existing Condition

Andy is currently a member of Sonora Chorus (an Altadena-based choir), Angeles Chorale (a Los Angeles-based choir), and they are always open to further expanding their horizons by joining other like-minded choral groups.
